Blue Chip Youth Sports Partners With SportsEngine To Transform Flag Football Organization Management

Blue Chip Sports Partnership Announcement

SportsEngine, the leading youth sports team and club management technology platform, today announced a new multi-year partnership with Blue Chip Youth Sports, one of the largest flag football organizations in the world. The collaboration names SportsEngine as the exclusive provider of online member management, registration, and payment solutions for all participating Blue Chip leagues.

SportsEngine’s collaboration with Blue Chip comes at a pivotal time for the organization as flag football continues to experience rapid growth. As the world’s fastest-growing sport, flag football is played by more than 20 million people in more than 100 countries and across all age groups and genders. According to the International Federation of American Football, 2.4 million kids under 17 are playing organized flag football in the U.S. The sport itself is set to be an official sport at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

Blue Chip Youth Sports is at the forefront of this growth, with more than 40 leagues and 30,000 young athletes participating in its programs throughout North America and, most recently, Narita, Japan, its first entry into Asia. The organization’s reach continues to grow, providing flag football opportunities to youth from all walks of life and further solidifying its place as one of the largest flag football organizations globally.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Blue Chip Youth Sports to help bring their flag football leagues the benefits of SportsEngine’s cutting-edge technology,” said Dan Burquist, Senior Vice President, SportsEngine. “Our platform will help streamline operations, simplify registration and payment processes, and ultimately provide a better experience for the athletes, coaches, and parents involved in these leagues. Together, we can build a more efficient and seamless experience for all participants.”

“This partnership with SportsEngine is an exciting step forward for our organization,” said Patrick Williams, CEO, Blue Chip Youth Sports. “Their technology will enable us to better serve our athletes and their families while continuing to expand flag football to new regions and leagues. We look forward to seeing how our collaboration will improve the overall experience for everyone involved in our programs.”

With flag football gaining momentum as a mainstream sport, this partnership will help facilitate its continued growth and success, making it easier for leagues to manage their operations and for families to get involved in the sport.
