Eleven Warmup Activities and Drills for Youth Hockey Practice For the younger players even the act of getting up off of their stomach or off their knees provides good balance and coordination work. The first 10 to 15 minutes of practice is crucial for setting the tempo and getting players warmed up and engaged.
