The three-time Olympic gold medalist and mother of three has continued to deal with shoulder injuries since winning bronze with April Ross in Rio. Walsh Jennings paired with Brooke Sweat in the fall of 2018, and the team got their first international win together at an FIVB tournament in May of 2019. Sweat and Walsh Jennings lost in the first knockout round of the 2019 World Championships, but still have managed to amass points towards Olympic qualification through other events – they are currently the second-ranked American team in the women’s standings behind Klineman and Ross (as of July 15, 2019).
