Greyson Cushman, 6, continues to recover from surgery to remove a brain tumor, but members of Daphne Youth Baseball have collected funds to help his family with medical expenses. Those who know Greyson describe him as outgoing, with a big heart, and great T-ball skills. Jeramy Simmons coached the Daphne East Elementary student in T-ball last Fall. "He's just the kid that you'd love to coach. I mean, he wants to learn. He's just an awesome kid. He's an outgoing kid. He's very sweet," said Simmons. On Wednesday night, Simmons and other members of Daphne Youth Baseball donated nearly $20,000 to Greyson's mother Christina. The funds were collected during a fundraising tournament on Sunday, May 5.
