Industry trends I follow Participation in youth sports as a result of the pandemic, as well as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives across the sports world. 2. Someone I follow on social media that you should go follow right now is _______ All USA Hockey social channels! 3. What are you currently reading? I just finished “Us Against You” by Fredrik Backman, which is a follow up to his book “Beartown.” They are set in a small town in Sweden and have hockey woven into the story. 4. What are you currently binging on? I largely watch a lot of hockey and sports on TV. I also just finished “The Queen's Gambit." 5. What are you listening to? I’m mostly a music guy (heavy on The Black Crowes) but I listen to hockey podcasts from time to time. 6. What is your go-to leadership quote? With the challenges we have all faced over the last year, we have been talking a lot about culture so this is a more recent one that I like to use: “Culture is both created and tolerated.” 7. What is your favorite sports memory? The Miracle on Ice was pretty impactful on the 9 year old me who loved hockey. 8. Favorite athlete of all time and why? Like most people who are my age and grew up a Bruins fan in Boston, I'd probably have to say Bobby Orr.
